Abernethy v The Queen (2020) 282 A Crim R 513

Facts: Defendant (D) was convicted of intentionally causing injury. At trial, 2 Ds were tried together. They had each made a statement to police and sought cross-admissibility of statements. Each D consented to the use of the statement by the other D. The judge did not permit this.
