Kuru v New South Wales (2008) 236 CLR 1

Facts: Police officers went to a flat after receiving a report of male and female arguing. The occupier allows police to look around before asking them to leave. Despite repeated demands for the police leave, they declined to go. There was a physical struggle and he was arrested. He sued for trespass to his flat, and false imprisonment.
