R v Dennis Bauer (2018) 266 CLR 56 

Facts: Defendant (D) (appellant) allegedly indecently and sexually penetrated the complainant (C) a number of times (18 counts) between 1988-1998. On all charges, bar one, C was the only Pr W; On the remaining charge, C’s younger half sister was the only prosecution (Pr) witness (W). Pr gave notice that it wanted to rely on various charged acts & evidence from both C & sister of charged sexual conduct as tendency evidence to support each of the charges. The trial judge (TJ) allowed the tendency evidence. It was appealed.
