R v Rose (2002) 55 NSWLR 701

Facts: Police officer (PO) asked 300 university students whether any of them had seen the deceased with a person driving a white Ford. None of the students responded to this request. PO’s evidence of the absence of a response was adduced as a “representation” by each of the students.
