The Winkfield [1902] P 42

Facts: There was a collision of 2 ships: the Mexican and the Winkfield. The Mexican was carrying parcels and letters which were lost at sea following the collision. The Postmaster General who had undertaken to distribute the parcels and letters sued The Winkfield for destroying the goods.
