Walsh v Ervin [1952] VLR 361 

Facts: The plaintiff (Pl) and defendant (D) were both farmers and had properties divided by a highway. D ploughed up part of the highway for crops, preventing Pl’s access to part of it. D also constructed gates across the highway, causing inconvenience for Pl to move his sheep and pass along it. Pl sought injunction and damages.
